2004: Raptors visit The Hospital for Sick Children
Hospital4_2.JPG2004 - On Monday, January 26, Jalen and some of his teammates made the Toronto Raptors annual visit to The Hospital for Sick Children to spend some time with patients. The players had an opportunity to play video games and shoot hoops with the children. Each child received a Raptors gift pack and many were lucky enough to receive autographs from some of their favorite athletes.

The Hospital for Sick Children, affectionately called Sick Kids, is one of the largest pediatric academic health science centers in the world, with an international reputation for excellence in health care, research and teaching.

As a local hospital, Sick Kids meets the basic health needs of children who live in the City of Toronto. But more than half the patients come from outside the city: they come from other parts of Canada, and from around the world.
