 For the 3rd consecutive season, The Jalen Rose Foundation sponsored a
charity ticket section at every Toronto Raptors home game. Local
non-profit groups were invited on behalf of Jalen to the Air Canada
Centre to be part of the basketall excitement. Each child received a
ticket to the game, a "Rose Garden" jersey as well as an opportunity to
watch shoot around from the court prior to the game. Through the course
of the season, Jalen donated close to 1,000 tickets to local children
who may have never seen a Raptor game otherwise.This year's recipients included: Toronto Kiwanis Boys & Girls Club Dixon Hall Frontier College United Way Jane & Finch Community Center Regent Park Community Health Centre Camp Jumoke Children's Aid Society Camp Oochigeas (pictured) Urban Promise |
