Chauncey Billups - Mr Big Shot has definitely found a home in Detroit.
Richard Hamilton - Has averaged over 20 points per game in the last 5 years.
Ray Allen - To the winner goes the spoils. Best record has its privileges.
Chris Bosh - Best power forward in the east.
Rasheed Wallace - His versatility is the key to Detroit's success.
Paul Pierce - Still the Celts leading scorer.
Caron Butler - I may ask for this guys autograph! LOL
West
Brandon Roy - Best player on the biggest surprise team.
Steve Nash - Leads the league in assists.
Chris Paul - Could be the first to average 20 points, 10 assists, and 3
steals.
Amare Stoudamire - This guy can start to be mentioned in MVP discussions.
Dirk Nowitzki - The best shooting big man in the NBA.
Carlos Boozer - Averaging 23 points and 11 rebounds. Second best power
forward in the West (Tim Duncan)
Tyson Chandler - Averaging 12points and 12 rebounds per game.
Rose Rankings (Week of January 28th)
#1 - Boston - Perkins and Poe have given positive contributions for the center position.
#2 - New Orleans - The best team in the west right now. Chandler deserves to be an All-Star.
#3 - Dallas - Devin Harris out 2-3 weeks with a bruised ankle.
#4 - Phoenix - Nash leads the league with 12 assists per game. Phoenix leads the league in scoring with 110 points per game.
#5 - Detroit - Look for big minutes from Maxiell and Stuckey.
#6 - San Antonio - Signing Stoudamire will become a priority with Parker out.
#7 - Utah - This team seems to be finding it's stride from last year.
#8 - Los Angeles Lakers - Need to perform well during this 9 game road trip.
#9 - Portland - James Jones leads the NBA in 3 point field goal percentage shooting 50%.
#10 - Orlando - Hedo Turkoglu deserves all star consideration.
#11 - Denver - Success will waiver until defense is a constant.
#12 - Golden State - The steady addition of Chris Webber can make this squad a force to be reckoned with.
#13 - Toronto - Chris Bosh is the second best player in the east.
#14 - Cleveland - Team gives coach Mike Brown a two year extension.
#15 - Houston - Surprisingly on the outside looking in of the playoff race.
#16 - Washington - Caron Butler deserves to be an All-Star, will Antawn Jamison join him?
#17 - Atlanta - Al Horford has solidified the power forward position for this team.
#18 - Sacramento - Kevin Martin is one of the best scorers in the league.
#19 - Charlotte - Mohammed is paying dividends. Averaging 11 points and 9 rebounds per game.
#20 - Indiana - Will Jamal Tinsley make it past the trade deadline?
#21 - Milwaukee - Will this team shakeup it's roster?
#22 - Chicago - Nocioni has been productive (15 points, 5 rebounds per game)
#23 - Philadelphia's - Where's Iverson when you need him?
#24 - New York - Nate Robinson's minutes and production are beginning to increase.
#25 - Los Angeles Clippers - Sterling and Dunleavy back and forth. Classic material.
#26 - Memphis - Stoudamire gets a buy out.
#27 - Minnesota - In case you have not heard, Al Jefferson is a BEAST!
#28 - New Jersey - Jason Kidd confirmed he wants to be traded.
#29 - Miami - This season cannot be over soon enough.
