ROSE REPORT - Volume #8 (week of March 11th) #1 - Houston: 19 straight wins and counting... 7 without Yao Ming. #2 - Boston: 1st team to win 50 games. #3 - Detroit: Have a nice stretch of home games to possibly gain on Celtics. #4 - LA Lakers: Kobe Kobe Kobe... for MVP. #5 - San Antonio: Kurt Thomas will help a ton down the stretch and in the playoffs. #6 New Orleans: Have Spurs, Lakers and pistons this week. #7 - Utah: Best home record in the league. #8 - Phoenix: Amare Stoudamire is a legit MVP candidate. #9 - Dallas: Brandon Bass will need 2 play big minutes. #10 - Orland: Need to establish backcourt consistency. #11 - Golden State: Starting to find minutes for rookie Brandon Wright. #12 - Cleveland: This team pounds the glass with the best of them. #13 - Denver: The Dow Jones team of the league - up and down. #14 - Toronto: Need a healthy Bosh to make a serious playoff push. #15 - Philadelphia: Mo Cheeks just signed a new contract extension.
